With all of the excitement about blogs, wikis, social bookmarks, podcasts, elluminate, and online learning, what does this look like in a school environment? How does it look like in a school district? How does the technology behave within a school environment? It will be interesting to see how this experiment evolves.

E-Bolt Observations

Feedback from the session indicated that the E-Bolt discussion went fairly well. Participants are taking a couple of steps back and really looking at the process of Action Research and not so much thinking about creating an eye catching blog. A suggestion for getting all of the new researchers on board faster would be to start off with a very small essential question. Something that can be researched and evaluated within a month. Once they have debriefed their findings about the process itself, researchers can then be guided into the deeper waters with broader questions to ponder.
