Natalie, my stepdaughter, always reminds me that I spend a tremendous amount of time planning everything. The catch is life never unveils itself in one perfectly planned path. There are always boulders that can fall from the hillside and natural disasters that can wash away the road. Thankfully, I have surrounded myself with friends and family that remind me to always prepare for life's wonders.
Where will the iPod journey take me? I really don't know. The research in this blog opened my eyes to new opportunities. My research into social networking will be put to the test with the Project GLIDES grant. Who knows. By this time next year, I probably will be sailing in another direction entirely.

How has the action research process guided your actions up to this point?
Action Research was instrumental in questioning how social networking could be implemented throughout a school. Through my research into social networks and narrowing the focus to "ipodogogy" (rules of engagement for education), Action Research methods gave me direction to investigate technology grants to test my hypothesis.
